This is an excellent opportunity for a CA(SA)from one of the big 5 auditing firms who had auditing manufacturing companies and who has some post article manufacturing experience. You need to understand a factory environment and this company is not negotiable on this point. They are using Syspro but any big ERP package experience would work. You will be groomed into the position that an ex pat is currently holding because he needs to return home so a strong candidate is required.
