This is a position that would require either a newly qualified CA(SA) to join the company and report internationally. Alternatively, a candidate who has a BCom and already has at least 7 years of experience performing the full financial accounting function. Cashbook, Creditors, Debtors, Fixed Assets, Provisions, Accruals, Prepayments. You will be responsible for preparing financial reports for South Africa Namibia and Botswana for the German head office. P and L accounts balance sheet reports stock turnover reports. This is a manufacturing company so manufacturing experience would be preferred. You need to have a fully completed degree in accounting, at least seven years of experience in property, two years need to have been managing staff. Your CV needs to demonstrate the ability to supervise others. You need to not only have strong analytical skills, but also good computer skills, in particular Excel. You will report to the head office in Johannesburg. You will be expected to assume responsibility for the effective performance of all accounting department functions.
