An excellent opportunity for a technically strong CA(SA) to join a fast-paced business with an experienced financial leadership team.

Our client is seeking an experienced Group Financial Manager to join a dynamic finance department, reporting directly to the Financial Director.

This is a varied and challenging position that extends beyond traditional financial reporting. You will be involved in operations, ERP implementation, shared services oversight and group consolidations, while leading a team of 12 finance professionals.

The finance function is structured under highly qualified financial executives, providing the opportunity to work alongside experienced leaders and develop your technical, commercial and leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a finance team of 12.
• Prepare the group’s consolidated financial reporting pack.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with IFRS.
• Participate in ERP system implementation.
• Monitor and oversee shared services activities.
• Work closely with operational teams and senior financial executives.
• Support the Financial Director with group financial management responsibilities.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential requirements:

• Fully qualified CA(SA).
• Articles completed at a Big Four or mid-tier audit firm.
• Minimum of three years’ group reporting experience gained in FMCG, manufacturing or a similar environment.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and practical IFRS expertise.
• Experience working in a demanding, deadline-driven financial environment.
• Ability to manage and lead a sizeable finance team.
