The Opportunity

Reporting to and supporting the Operational CFO, you will assume a senior financial management role within the organisation, supervising a team of seven.

The position offers exposure to a technically advanced mining environment, with substantial opportunities for professional growth and development.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

The following requirements are non-negotiable:

• Fully qualified CA(SA).
• Articles completed at a Big Four audit firm.
• A degree from a leading university.
• Financial management or relevant commercial experience gained outside an audit firm.
• Proven ability to supervise and lead a finance team.

Highly advantageous:

• Previous experience in the mining sector.
• Knowledge and understanding of South African mining taxation.

We are looking for a commercially experienced Chartered Accountant who can operate confidently alongside the Operational CFO and contribute effectively within a growing, technically sophisticated mining environment.

Remuneration and Working Arrangements

R1.8 million plus substantial bonuses.

The position will initially be fully remote. Thereafter, you will be required to attend the office several days per week as part of a hybrid working arrangement.

Recruitment Timeline

The company intends to finalise its appointment decision by the end of November 2026, allowing the successful candidate to commence employment in 2027.
