An international company servicing the mining sector is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join its finance team in Germiston.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong accountant with extensive Syspro ERP experience and a proven track record of managing the full financial accounting function. Due to the nature of the role, candidates with previous manufacturing experience are likely to be particularly well suited.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full financial accounting function
- Prepare and submit month-end financial reports to the company’s head office in Germany
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and month-end processes
- Maintain financial controls and accounting procedures
- Support management with financial analysis and reporting requirements
Requirements:
- BCom Degree
- Completed articles with a minimum of 3 years’ financial accounting experience, or
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Financial Accountant role
- Strong working knowledge of Syspro ERP (essential)
- Manufacturing experience highly advantageous
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work to strict deadlines and manage multiple priorities
- Professional, well-spoken, and detail-oriented
