A diversified multinational group is seeking an Assistant Financial Manager to join its finance team in Centurion.
This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional looking for long-term growth within a large, structured organisation. The role includes limited travel to regional branches, so own transport is essential.
Please note: A BEE candidate is preferred for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage regional office finance processes to ensure deadlines are met
- Support the Regional Financial Manager
- Assist with monthly management accounts
- Review balance sheet reconciliation files
- Attend management reviews with General Managers
- Attend stock takes and review stock take statistics
- Prepare and review month-end flash reports
- Assist with releasing payments
- Support the preparation of budgets
- Assist with workshops for branch admin staff
- Prepare year-end audit packs
- Complete and submit VAT returns
- Analyse contract consumables
Requirements:
- BCom Finance degree
- Minimum 5 years’ experience supervising junior staff
- Strong financial reporting and reconciliation experience
- Ability to meet deadlines in a regional office environment
- Comfortable travelling to branches when required
- Own car essential
