About the Role
Reporting into senior leadership, you will take full responsibility for the finance function across the Sub-Saharan Group, providing strategic financial leadership while ensuring strong governance, compliance, and operational efficiency.
This role requires a commercially astute finance leader who is comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels and has extensive experience managing finance functions within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the finance function across the Sub-Saharan Group
- Oversee treasury management and currency hedging activities
- Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and financial risk
- Review and implement cost reduction and efficiency strategies
- Provide guidance and oversight for annual budgeting and forecasting processes
- Supervise internal and external audit processes
- Manage group taxation and compliance requirements
- Oversee transfer pricing policies and reporting
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting across the group
- Support executive leadership with strategic financial insights and decision-making
Requirements:
- CA(SA) or fully qualified CIMA
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a senior finance management role
- Strong manufacturing or industrial sector experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong working knowledge of Syspro ERP (essential)
- Proven leadership and people management capability
- Strong commercial, analytical, and strategic thinking skills
- Experience managing complex, multi-entity finance operations
