An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Manager to take responsibility for the group’s financial consolidations and lead an established finance team.

Why consider this opportunity?

The position is initially offered as a 12-month contract, with the intention of becoming permanent. The current Financial Manager is acting as Financial Director and is expected to be promoted, creating the opportunity for a long-term appointment.

There is a strong possibility of securing a permanent position within approximately five months, subject to the anticipated promotion and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the financial consolidation of more than 26 branches.
• Oversee intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Manage foreign exchange (forex) accounting requirements.
• Lead a direct team of five finance professionals.
• Oversee and coordinate with accountants across the various branches.

Qualifications and Experience

We are looking for a Financial Manager with:

• A CA(SA) qualification, or a BCom Honours degree with completed articles.
• Proven financial management experience.
• Strong experience in group consolidations and intercompany accounting.
• A sound understanding of foreign exchange transactions.
• The ability to manage a finance team and coordinate financial reporting across multiple branches.
