This role is suited to a highly experienced finance professional with a strong background in manufacturing, costing, stock control, and team leadership. The successful candidate will play a key role in financial oversight, operational support, and management reporting, while also mentoring a team and building strong relationships across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of approximately 6 finance staff
- Manage and oversee costing, stock control, and stock take processes
- Prepare accurate and timely management reports
- Support operational decision-making through strong financial analysis
- Mentor, train, and develop members of the finance team
- Work closely with General Managers and divisional leadership across the business
- Maintain high levels of accuracy and meet strict reporting deadlines
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- At least 4 years’ supervisory or team leadership experience
- Strong costing and stock management experience
- Ability to run and oversee stock takes
- Solid technical accounting and reporting capability
- Above-average academic results in your degree or equivalent qualification
- Strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to work across multiple divisions
- Accurate, deadline-driven, and commercially aware
