The People Connection is a top tier Financial Placement and Executive Search company with impeccable credentials in this highly focussed and niche area.
The company has earned its reputation through a decade-long track record of consistently delivering only high calibre candidates for the finest financial departments within South Africa's top companies.

The People Connection's management team restricts the level of candidates they consider for placement within their specialist orientation approach. The resultant Preferred Client Philosophy means that they will not work with every company looking for people or with every candidate looking for a job.

As a result, the company has developed a reputation for attracting the most sought after, talented and high calibre financial professionals available in the market today.

"Despite a quality candidate-short market, we still accredit an impressive 96% success rate to our prejudiced selection approach and a specialised recruitment technique that generates a candidate flow of a much higher calibre than clients would be exposed to through other recruiting methods."

This top tier quality selection approach means that The People Connection attracts high profile clients, clients who are only too delighted by the fact that TPC provides them with access to only the best possible middle-to-senior professionals within the fields of finance and accounting.

The company maintains a select group of blue-chip clients with whom it has established long-term partnership relationships, clients in turn respect TPC's knowledge base, so much so that a large portion of its business is referral based.

TPC is a level 3 110% BBBEE rated firm

This company is willing to offer both successful candidates a R500 000 sign up bonus. This international group looks for a certain profile when it looks for its most valuable top people. You need to be independent. Operate without supervision and do what is necessary to get the job done. You need good negotiation skills, good interpersonal skills especially the ability to deal with senior people on an international level. Ideally you will be passionate about the manufacturing and mining industries. Two opportunities exist ; one for a group tax manager who can look into capital allowances, strategic investments and customs and exports tax. The other position is for a group manager of statutory reporting. Essentially you will produce the glossy financial statements for a company listed on the JSE and in Europe. They have SOX compliance and you will need to make some US GAAP adjustments. Both positions have a team of strong CASAs reporting into them. If you have experience into Africa already or international experience that would be ideal. It is essential you have worked already in a large listed group. Probably you served articles at one of the larger audit firms. Both positions will entail you sitting on a number of boards and committees. emma@tpc.co.za
