A professional, ethics-driven organisation is seeking a Group Accountant (CA(SA)) to join its finance team in Melrose.
Reporting directly to the Group Executive, you will be responsible for preparing financial information, calculations, and departmental reports to ensure all group entities remain compliant with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the Companies Act, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
This role is suited to a technically strong CA(SA) with listed group exposure who enjoys working in a structured, high-performing environment.
Key Requirements:
- CA(SA) qualification
- Completed CA training contract/articles
- Minimum 2–3 years’ post-qualification experience
- Experience within a JSE-listed group environment
- Strong technical understanding of IFRS
- Strong analytical and critical thinking ability, particularly relating to consolidations
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Dynamic, proactive, and able to take initiative
Advantageous Experience:
- Exposure to SAP or other ERP systems
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions, including Purchase Price Allocations (PPAs)
