A successful and growing manufacturing company based in Isando is seeking an experienced Financial Manager to lead its finance function.
This is an urgent opportunity for a hands-on professional who understands the operational realities of a manufacturing environment and is comfortable working both in the office and on the factory floor.
You will oversee a team of approximately 10 staff, ensuring strong financial controls, accurate reporting, and effective stock management within a fast-paced production setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the finance team
- Maintain and strengthen financial controls and processes
- Oversee stock management and participate in stock takes
- Analyse manufacturing costs and support operational decision-making
- Work closely with production teams to resolve issues and improve efficiencies
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proven team management and supervisory experience
- Strong working knowledge of Syspro ERP (essential)
- Solid understanding of stock, costing, and production processes
- Relevant degree (essential)
- CIMA (part-qualified) advantageous
- Hands-on, proactive approach with strong problem-solving ability
