A major player operating across sectors connected to the FMCG, agriculture and retail industries is seeking an experienced Financial Manager to take financial responsibility for two divisions within the group.

This is a demanding, hands-on Financial Manager position where you will take full financial control of two divisions and provide support to their respective General Managers.
About the Role
The two businesses use different costing systems and apply standard costing differently. As a result, this role requires someone who is comfortable working with the complexities of costing within a manufacturing environment.
Job costing can be challenging, so you will need to enjoy investigating financial issues, identifying the root cause of problems and working through them to find a resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full financial control of two divisions within the group
- Provide financial support to the General Managers
- Work across two businesses using different costing systems
- Manage the different applications of standard costing
- Work with complex manufacturing job costing
- Investigate costing and financial issues to identify their root causes
- Support the resolution of financial and costing problems across the two divisions
Requirements
- BCom degree – essential
- CIMA or similar qualification
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Financial Manager within a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of manufacturing and standard costing
- ERP package experience
- Strong problem-solving ability
- A confident and strong personality is essential
