A large, well-established organisation is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join its finance team in Ormonde.

Reporting to the National Financial Manager, you will be responsible for the full financial function while assisting with payroll verification and ensuring the accuracy of key financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform the full financial accounting function
- Prepare month-end journals and reconciliations
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Prepare and submit VAT returns
- Manage the fixed asset register
- Reconcile inter-company accounts
- Assist the National Financial Manager with reviewing and verifying VIP Payroll information
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial reporting standards
- Support month-end and year-end reporting processes
Requirements:
- National Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience performing the full financial function
- Strong working knowledge of SAP (essential)
- Experience with VIP Payroll (essential)
- Understanding of payroll verification processes (payroll processing is not required)
- Strong reconciliation and reporting skills
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability
- Ability to work independently while supporting the wider finance team
