A well-established organisation based in Aeroton is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join its finance team.
Working closely with the Financial Manager, you will take responsibility for key financial accounting functions, payroll administration, and month-end reporting. This role is ideal for a hands-on accountant with strong SAP and VIP Payrollexperience who enjoys working in a fast-paced finance environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the month-end and year-end financial reporting process
- Manage VAT, fixed assets, and intercompany accounts
- Process monthly payroll and employee benefits using VIP Payroll
- Supervise and provide guidance to the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams
- Ensure accurate financial records and compliance with accounting standards
- Assist the Financial Manager with reporting and finance-related projects
Requirements:
- BCom Degree or 3-Year N6 Diploma in Finance
- Minimum 5 years’ accounting experience
- Strong working knowledge of SAP (essential)
- Previous VIP Payroll experience (essential)
- Experience with month-end and year-end reporting
- Strong understanding of VAT, fixed assets, and intercompany accounting
- Excellent organisational and analytical skills
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines
