Financial Accountant | Benoni | R500 000 p.a.

An exciting opportunity exists for a Financial Accountant to join a fast-growing company behind popular, award-winning brands.

You will oversee financial operations across the parent company and its subsidiaries, helping to ensure strategic alignment, regulatory compliance and efficient resource management.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee financial operations across the parent company and its subsidiaries
• Support the annual external audit process, responding to audit queries and providing requested documentation and sample evidence
• Liaise with external auditors to support an efficient audit process
• Prepare Annual Financial Statements (AFS) for three subsidiary entities using CaseWare
• Ensure financial statements are accurate, IFRS compliant and completed on time
• Prepare tax computations
• Manage VAT requirements
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations
• Participate in stock counts across multiple warehouses
• Reconcile physical stock against system records and investigate variances
• Coordinate BEE processes
• Perform rebate calculations and reconciliations

Requirements

• BCom degree
• Completed articles with at least 2 years’ post-article experience, or
• Without articles, at least 5–6 years’ financial accounting experience
• Manufacturing or FMCG experience would be ideal
• Syspro or another ERP system would be beneficial
