This is an interesting position for a CA ( SA ) who enjoys the entrepreneurial / operational side of business but can also fully understand the need for compliance and accounting standards of a larger corporate office.
The role will be both strategic and operational in nature, but your strong technical financial skills are required, and you must be a fully qualified CA (SA) with at least five years of post-qualifying experience in commerce.
What you’ll need:
- Fully qualified CA(SA)
- Minimum 5 years’ post-qualifying experience in commerce
- Experience within retail, FMCG, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing environments
- Strong financial reporting capability with a solid understanding of IFRS and tax compliance
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
- Willingness to be hands-on, managing a small finance team (Accountant, Creditors, Debtors)

You will guide divisional leadership, oversee day-to-day financial operations, and ensure compliance while supporting business growth. The role offers exposure to both high-level decision-making and hands-on financial management.
