Senior Financial Controller | Industria West (West Rand) | R800 000 per annum

A well-established South African manufacturing company is seeking a Senior Financial Controller to join its finance team in Industria West.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious finance professional looking to progress into a Financial Director role. This is a demanding but highly rewarding role that combines both financial leadership and operational involvement. You will play a key role in ensuring the integrity of financial information, improving reporting processes, and supporting the operational success of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data
• Manage and improve financial reporting cycles
• Support month-end and management reporting processes
• Work closely with operational teams to improve business performance
• Oversee inventory-related financial controls and reporting
• Identify process improvements and strengthen financial controls
• Provide financial insight to support strategic business decisions

Requirements:

• BCom Accounting degree (or equivalent)
• SAICA or SAIPA articles (highly advantageous)
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a similar financial role within the manufacturing or distribution sector
• Strong understanding of inventory management (essential)
• Advanced working knowledge of Sage 300 ERP (Accpac) (highly preferred)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including:
  • Pivot Tables
  • VLOOKUPs
  • Data modelling
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Hands-on approach with the ability to work closely with operational teams
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
