A well-established South African manufacturing company is seeking a Senior Financial Controller to join its finance team in Industria West.

This is a demanding but highly rewarding role that combines both financial leadership and operational involvement. You will play a key role in ensuring the integrity of financial information, improving reporting processes, and supporting the operational success of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data
- Manage and improve financial reporting cycles
- Support month-end and management reporting processes
- Work closely with operational teams to improve business performance
- Oversee inventory-related financial controls and reporting
- Identify process improvements and strengthen financial controls
- Provide financial insight to support strategic business decisions
Requirements:
- BCom Accounting degree (or equivalent)
- SAICA or SAIPA articles (highly advantageous)
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a similar financial role within the manufacturing or distribution sector
- Strong understanding of inventory management (essential)
- Advanced working knowledge of Sage 300 ERP (Accpac) (highly preferred)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including:
- Pivot Tables
- VLOOKUPs
- Data modelling
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on approach with the ability to work closely with operational teams
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
