Senior Financial Accountant | Industria West (West Rand) | R800 000 per annum

A well-established South African manufacturer based in Industria West, Johannesburg is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join its finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the integrity and accuracy of financial information
• Manage and improve month-end and financial reporting processes
• Ensure the efficiency of financial reporting cycles
• Work closely with operational teams to support business performance
• Monitor and manage inventory-related financial processes
• Analyse financial data and identify opportunities for process improvements
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function

Requirements:

• BCom Accounting degree (or equivalent)
• SAICA or SAIPA articles (highly advantageous)
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a similar Financial Accountant role
• Previous experience within the manufacturing or distribution sector
• Strong understanding of inventory management (essential)
• Advanced working knowledge of Sage 300 ERP (Accpac) (highly preferred)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including:
  • Pivot Tables
  • VLOOKUPs
  • Data modelling
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• Hands-on approach with a willingness to work closely with operational teams
• High attention to detail and ability to thrive in a mid-sized business environment
