A well-established South African manufacturer based in Industria West, Johannesburg is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join its finance team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of financial information
- Manage and improve month-end and financial reporting processes
- Ensure the efficiency of financial reporting cycles
- Work closely with operational teams to support business performance
- Monitor and manage inventory-related financial processes
- Analyse financial data and identify opportunities for process improvements
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function
Requirements:
- BCom Accounting degree (or equivalent)
- SAICA or SAIPA articles (highly advantageous)
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a similar Financial Accountant role
- Previous experience within the manufacturing or distribution sector
- Strong understanding of inventory management (essential)
- Advanced working knowledge of Sage 300 ERP (Accpac) (highly preferred)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including:
- Pivot Tables
- VLOOKUPs
- Data modelling
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Hands-on approach with a willingness to work closely with operational teams
- High attention to detail and ability to thrive in a mid-sized business environment
