A well-established construction company based in Pretoria is seeking a Site Bookkeeper / Site Clerk to join their head office finance team.
This is a fast-paced, operational environment, not a corporate office setting. The business operates within the construction sector and leases out heavy earth-moving equipment, requiring strong financial administration and costing control.
Although you will be based at head office, the role requires close coordination with multiple construction sites to gather and consolidate financial and costing data.
Key Responsibilities:

Managing debtors and creditors functions

Handling collections and credit control (including equipment leasing accounts)

Processing selected accounts payments

Performing accurate reconciliations

Collecting costing data from various construction sites

Preparing and compiling monthly costing reports

Allocating wages, salaries, creditor payments, and income to project costings

Submitting finalised monthly cost reports
Requirements:

Previous experience within a construction environment (highly advantageous)

Strong understanding of debtors, creditors, and reconciliations

Experience with project costing and site-based financial data

Ability to work in a high-pressure, operational environment

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
