This is a position that would suit an individual who is used to very high stock volumes. Over 600 jobs are run at one time, and the jobs are bespoke, so the costing is complex. Syspro is used. It would be better for the organization to employ a more senior candidate and utilize the skills across the group.
You will be responsible for managing and ensuring the accuracy of cost information, maintaining a stable and accurate costing environment, and verifying the integrity of Bills of Materials (BOMs) within the organization. Ideally you would have Syspro experience. A BCom a CIMA would be an advantage. At least three years of experience in a manufacturing environment in a senior costing role. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and cost reduction techniques. Knowledge of IFRS, cost controls, and best practices in a manufacturing environment. Ability to communicate cost-related issues and solutions to non-financial stakeholders effectively.
