This position would ideally suit a candidate from an FMCG or retail environment who brings strong financial and internal audit experience. It is essential that you have a solid understanding of finance principles in addition to audit operations. Candidates with articles and proven experience in retail or trading entities will be at an advantage.
- A degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Internal Auditing is essential, with at least 4 years’ experience.
- The role requires national travel of up to 60%, visiting retail stores for the purpose of financial and internal auditing.
- ERP and Excel proficiency is required.
The Bloemfontein region team is expanding and seeks to add a financially strong internal auditor who is analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive in risk and control management. This is not an operational audit role – you will be expected to bring insight into governance, finance, and internal control processes.
Salary: R500 000 per annum (depending on experience)
